  8. PROGRAM INFORMATION
  9.  
  10. ButtonStar Deluxe is a full featured program launcher for Windows 3.1. It
  11. replaces the chaos and limitations of Program Manager with simplicity and
  12. the power of common sense. 
  13.  
  14. ButtonStar Deluxe is first and foremost a Windows Shell program. Designed
  15. from the outset to be easy to use, simple to configure and logical in it's
  16. approach to the way you work. ButtonStar's interface comprises of a two page
  17. matrix of 36 buttons each. Buttons can be configured to launch a DOS or 
  18. Windows program, or control one of nine Toolbars containing nine buttons
  19. each. The ToolBar's function the same as the main Button Bar, where each
  20. button can be configured for program launch. The ToolBar allows you to keep
  21. like programs or projects together. In total this provides the user with
  22. 151 programmable buttons.

  28. 1. 151 configurable buttons including nine group toolbars of nine buttons each.

  30. 2. One mouse button click program launching and Fast Windows EXIT.

  32. 3. User configurable Button Bar Matrix: 2 Rows-18 Columns to 18 Rows-2
  33. Columns.

  35. 4. Constant display of Date, Time, Day, System Memory, and System Resources.
  36.  
  37. 5. Keyboard or mouse control.

  39. 6. Pop-up reminder alarms, with timed program execution and snooze alarm.
  40. Unlimited number of alarms can be set for any time, date or week day.

  42. 7. Hot-Key ButtonStar to top. Bring ButtonStar to front from either an icon
  43. or background with one key stroke.

  45. 8. Pop-Up Task Manager - R/H mouse button pops up a menu with all running
  46. windows, plus programs you designated for quick launch. Another way launch
  47. programs without fighting or minimizing multiple windows.

  49. 9. Confiurable Launch options - Launch programs in a minimized state, Launch with a
  50. pop-up command line box, or Launch with a pop-up File Directory box where
  51. you select the file to load with your program.

  53. 10. Auto-Launch and System Idle program launch. Besides the previously
  54. mentioned launch options, each button can be configured to load or run at
  55. the beginning of your windows session or they can be launched when your
  56. system is idle. Similar to the screen saver concept, programs designated
  57. for idle launch, won't launch until your system has been idle for period
  58. of time.

  63. Windows 3.1 - (note: ButtonStar Plus runs under Windows 3.0)
  64. 286 CPU or above
  65. 2 MB Ram (4MB recommended)
  66. 1 MB of Hard Disk Space.
  67. Supports VGA, Super VGA and 1024x768 resolution.

  70. registered version with an opening Shareware notice and a 30 day program
  71. life.
